Penultimate Draft of VisCom 27 Conference is up

The conference is only ONE MONTH AWAY!!

Please visit the Program Draft and let me know of any spelling or content errors.

YOU DON’T NEED TO BE ON THE PROGRAM TO COME AND ENJOY THIS CONFERENCE!
I wasn’t a presenter at MY first VisCom (19 – Banff) but that first encounter made a world of difference for me and my career. I discovered my VisCom tribe and made lifelong friends who spoke and taught me a visual language and so much more. If you are in Visual Communication as a teacher and/or scholar and are tired of small talk at the huge conferences in big cities, come to VisCom and get into some BIG talk at this small, plenary conference, situated in a visually stunning place far from the madding crowd. read more

The CFP for VisCom 27 has been posted…

Ken and Conrad have been busy getting the site plans organized. Ken visited Steamboat Springs a few weeks ago and he reports that it will be a great setting for the conference. He writes: “The Sheraton is a beautiful hotel that is situated right next to the slope and right next to the gondola ski lift. This means people can rent a mountain bike right in the hotel, take it up the gondola, and ride it down the slope. Of course this is kind of exotic. If they want they can simply walk out of the hotel and hike a trail up the slope.” read more
